"On Wednesday morning a FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv became the scene of a mid-air terrorist attempt. The co-pilot, an Omani national, stabbed the captain reportedly shouting “Allahu Akbar” and tried to seize control of the aircraft with the apparent aim of crashing it. Four (4) Israeli passengers, acting together with other crew members on board, overpowered the attacker, restored order in the cockpit, and helped ensure the plane landed safely. Accounts from those on board describe a chaotic and bloody confrontation. The co-pilot was pulled from the flight deck and restrained. An Israeli dentist among the passengers treated the wounded captain and helped keep him conscious…."
