"The exhibition CLEARVIEW traces the material infrastructure, transformations, and footprint of the development of AI and machine vision. With the speed of data transmission crucial to smooth machine learning processes, fibre-optic cables wiggle at gargantuan data centers like an invisible nervous system. Those same cables cover war-torn landscapes with shimmering fiberglass webs spun by tirelessly buzzing drones. Weaving together natural, artificial and virtual elements, this fine thread creates new hybrid landscapes, or datascapes, inviting reflection on imminent implications of technological expansion. The architecture of the installation consists of fibre-optic threads, creating fragile, shimmering, yet very tactile surroundings. These flickering surfaces will be animated by a specially designed choreography of light. Piercing the surfaces formed by the fiber-optic threads, several sculptures made of textile, resin, aluminum, and stainless steel will be distributed throughout the space. A new video sculpture will light up the second room with pulsating images of nature as seen by machinic gaze. Curatorial team: Eliza Urwanowicz-Rojecka & Jakub Wróblewski Architecture: Sigita Simona Paplauskaitė Light design: Julius Kuršys Co-financed by the Lithuanian Council for Culture"
"From the 19 September to 13 December 2026, an immersive installation by Laure Prouvost will be presented at the 18th Biennale de Lyon. The intertwining of narrative, language and sensory experience lies at the core of Laure Prouvost’s practice. Her works draw viewers in through inventive narrative strategies marked by wit, wordplay, and unexpected associations. They open passages to alternative temporalities and spaces, prompting shifts in perspective through which questions of kinship, migration, climate change, and interspecies relations are reconfigured."
"From September 27, 2026, SCHAUWERK Sindelfingen will present monumental sculptures and installations by three internationally renowned Brazilian artists: Vivian Caccuri, Lucia Koch, and Henrique Oliveira. For the exhibition ANATOMY OF PRESENCE, large-format works are being newly conceived especially for the SCHAUWERK Sindelfingen, transforming the museum with accessible organic structures, impressive soundscapes, and immersive light installations. The three artists engage in a direct dialogue with the human body to transform the SCHAUWERK into a vibrant landscape of sensual, individual, and collective experiences. In doing so, they continue a tradition of installation art that has developed as an independent form in Brazil since the 1960s. In an increasingly virtual world, the presentation sets a clear counterpoint by inviting visitors to participate in an exhibition parkour to consciously perceive their own physicality and surroundings."

"We are pleased to announce Abdulhamid Kircher’s solo exhibition Rotting from Within, at Deichtorhallen Hamburg, opening Thursday, 4 June, from 8 pm. The exhibition Rotting from Within welcomes visitors with a sprawling panorama of photographs, texts, and archival material. The newly developed installation, 9 meters wide and more than 2 meters high, interweaves scenes, encounters, and farewells between Berlin and Turkey, through which the dynamics of a father-son relationship gradually emerge, like pieces of a puzzle coming together. In this presentation, Abdulhamid Kircher also expands the focus surrounding his late paternal grandfather. The father-son constellations in the photographs speak of loneliness, addiction, violence, and injury, but also of rapprochement, intoxication, touch, and grief. Kircher’s visual language – vibrant colours, high-contrast lighting moods and emotional frequencies – intensifies the immediacy and vulnerability of his subjects. The darkroom becomes a space of reflection and experience in which memories, relationships, and personal stories come to light. Accompanying the exhibition as part of the 9th Triennial of Photography, an accordion-fold booklet will be published featuring image sequences from Abdulhamid Kircher’s family archive and works from the series Rotting from Within, as well as a text by Nadine Isabelle Henrich. Curated by Nadine Isabelle Henrich, curator at the House of Photography. Curatorial assistance: Viktoria Rochambeau, curatorial trainee, House of Photography."
