Chevrolet decided to get in on the action itself with the S-10 Xtreme, a factory-built package that gave it a lowered stance, big wheels, ground effects and plenty of attitude. On paper it sounded like an aftermarket custom; in reality, you could order the whole thing from your Chevrolet dealer—and have it covered by the factory warranty."
