"From our grantees at @thepetfund Lucy had diabetes and many complications from diabetes. Last month Lucy unfortunately passed, but your kind gift helped her owner with the financial burden of her treatment. #dorisdayanimalfoundation #ddaf #thepetfund"

"From our grantees at @friendsofmaccnashville Luke came to our shelter as a puppy in 2024. Two years later, due to unexpected circumstances, he was returned to us. In April, we noticed he was having trouble walking and suspected a cruciate tear. We tried crate rest, but his lameness didn’t improve, so we moved forward with TPLO surgery to help him live a more comfortable, happy life. His foster cared for him lovingly throughout his rest and recovery, and after seeing him through surgery and healing, she decided to adopt him! Now Luke is settling into his forever home with someone who already knows him so well. #dorisdayanimalfoundation #ddaf #friendsofmaccnashville"

"Our friend and supporter, artist Brian Day, has once again created beautiful portraits of Doris for each month of the year, in both Wall and Desktop calendar versions. The stunning images on quality paper make great gifts and lovely keepsakes even after the year is over, so get a calendar for yourself and more for your friends before they`re gone! Brian is donating all proceeds to DDAF for the precious animals, and we are grateful for his generosity and dedication to bring the calendars to you again this year. They are available to ship now to various parts of the globe, directly from https://www.daybydaydreamer.co.uk/store2 Please note that the 2027 calendars are NOT available through DDAF`s store and can only be ordered directly from Brian."

"From our grantees at @kibblecupboard This is what a distribution day looks like at Kibble Cupboard, and what DDAF`s support makes possible for our families every month. Our shelves are stocked, bags are packed, and we’re ready to send food home with the 40+ families who count on us. Their ongoing support over the years has helped us keep our doors open and continue providing this much-needed food assistance to our local community.Every distribution day, we hear from families about how much of a burden is lifted knowing they don’t have to worry about where their pets’ next meal is coming from. For many, that means one less expense to worry about and one more reason they can keep their beloved pets at home.#dorisdayanimalfoundation #ddaf #kibblecupboard"
