pollinator garden movement. As an ecologist and educator, Nick studies the science of pollinators and native plants, and helps people find wonder in the world wherever they live. Nick’s work has been featured in leading academic journals, and in venues like USA Today, CBS News, The Boston Globe, and on the Tedx stage. He co-authored and photographed the first field guide to wild bees (watchingbees.com) and teaches an annual course at Eagle Hill Institute on the topic. He received his Ph.D. in Biology from Tufts University, worked as a research fellow at Chicago Botanic Garden, and is currently an Assistant Professor at City College of New York and member of Pollinator Pathways Advisory Board.
