"I’m going to be at the Harrisburg Board Game Day!The Harrisburg Board Game Day is a free event located in Strawberry Square (320 Market Street Harrisburg, PA, 17101) and runs from 10am to 8pm on August 29. You will need to pay for parking at the attached garage though. Silver Hand Games will be running 2 Sluggy Freelance games in the playtest/demo area located in the main food court. 'Dimension of G.A.M.E.' is a cooperative survival game where players work together to collect junk so they can fix their broken DFA and escape before being overwhelmed by a horde of ghouls!... (Awesome!!!!) And 'Don’t Be First' is a competitive score-counting game where players compete to be the second person to go out. Because the first one out is Bun-bun. What, you legit-won? Ka-Click!I should be there by 2pm and be joining in playtest games until around 6, I think, if you wanted to stop by and say hi!My First Gen-Con Was Also Last Minute Gencon!First and foremost I want to lead with The Puppy Roll III! in the YouTube Video My daughter Leah did the line drawn animatics for the recap (which you can see starting around the 10 minute mark) and she actually hops on stage for a two second wave within the 42 minute mark. Man, I’ve done a lot in t he nerd-o-sphere for almost 30 years and Felicia Day never applauded for me! Well played Leah! Puppy Roll is a charity event for doggos and pets of all kinds helmed by the great and wonderful Anjali Bhimani! You should all check it out."

I managed to succeed in my personal goals of meeting the Dungeon Dudes and seeing the Glass Cannon Network’s live show Thursday night at the Athenaeum. Sidenote: it was amazing! the in-person energy is fantastic. I highly reccomend it if you’ve enjoyed any GCN content! I'm trying for the Saturday Philly Show if i can make it.As things turned out I was first in line for the Dungeon Dudes Ghostfire Games signing event, because the Puppy Roll had just let out and I had an hour and nowhere to be. So, as I stewed for an hour trying to come up with a plan to NOT be awkward, my introvert social anxiety was on full display and I was intensely awkward with the Dungeon Dudes team. They were kind and very gracious and I especially wanted a shout out to Joe O’Gorman for calming my stress down and just earnestly connecting with me as a fan. Thanks Joe! IGNATIOUS!!!! So, going back to the Glass Cannon Network, I wanted to pick up their Get In the Trunk Delta Green dice because I’m so in to the Impossible Landscapes actual play they did a few years ago. And the gamemaster of that, Joe O’Brien, was about to run a Gauntlet Game at the booth. I just wanted to say how much I appreciated the wrangling he had to do as a gamemaster for that, and we had a great conversation. He put me totally at ease. Thanks Joe O’Brian!So my take-away is Joe O’s are the best people. Sorry Joe Sunday. If you were Joe O’Sunday you’d be cooler.BTW yes there was a tornado warning and some rain came through the roof, but that was small potatoes compared to the Joe-O’s and the Puppy Roll!
